The Sustainable Laundry Essential Hand-felted from 100% pure wool, our dryer balls are the natural alternative to synthetic dryer sheets and liquid softeners. They work by gently bouncing between folds of clothing, circulating warm air and absorbing moisture to leave your laundry soft, static-free, and chemical-free.

How to Use

• The Load: Place 3 balls in for small to medium loads, or up to 6 for larger loads (like towels and bedding).

• The Scent (Optional): To add a subtle botanical aroma, add 2–3 drops of your favourite essential oil to each ball. Let them sit for a few minutes before tossing them in with your laundry. Our favourite is Lemon Myrtle or Eucalyptus.

• The Result: Dry your clothes as usual. You may notice your drying time is reduced by up to 25%!

Care Instructions

• Storage: After the cycle is finished, keep your dryer balls inside the dryer with the door cracked, or in a well-ventilated basket. They need to air out between loads.

• Cleaning: If a ball becomes soiled, spot clean with cold water and a mild wool wash, then air dry.

• Pilling: Over time, the wool may "pill" (develop small fuzzy bumps). This is a natural characteristic of pure wool and actually increases the surface area, making the balls even more effective.

• Longevity: One set of wool dryer balls can last for over 1,000 loads—roughly 2–4 years of regular use.
