I’m Bonnie—mother, gardener, and the hands behind every formulation here at ivey eco. My journey into the world of botanical apothecary began not in a lab, but in the garden and the kitchen, fuelled by a deep-seated belief that what we put on our bodies should be as pure as what we put in them.
A Foundation in Science
In 2025, I graduated with a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition. This degree provided me with a rigorous understanding of how the body interacts with what it consumes—how ingredients are formulated, processed, and preserved. However, when I turned that same analytical eye toward the labels of "everyday" home and body products, I found a disconnect. The ingredient lists were unnecessarily complex, filled with synthetic fillers that didn't align with the "low-tox" life I wanted for my two little ones.
Purposeful Formulation
I decided to bridge that gap by applying my nutritional knowledge to skincare. At ivey eco., we have returned to the basics, but with scientific intentionality. Every ingredient in our collection serves a distinct purpose.

Grown with Intention: Many of our botanicals are hand-picked from my garden and dried in my home. Slowly infused into nourishing oils over a minimum of 4 weeks for optimum extraction.

Locally Sourced: We prioritise New England producers, sourcing local tallow and beeswax to support our community and ensure the highest quality.
